Ive bought 2 different foods for my african cichlids, 1 was fluval bug bites which i believe to be the cause of death of one of my other cichlids due to the bloat he developed from them, he did not eat much to begin with but sadly hes passed away now. I got another brand called Xtreme, which are also pellets and they would eat them but not as good as I thought they would because of the reviews on the stuff. Ive been buying smallest containers and different foods just to see which they like the best ive tested all three and by far the african cichlids love this flake food for some reason, even though its not to fakes aren't that big its pretty small flakes but my cichlids go crazy all over the tank for this stuff. I feed them once per day this flake food because ide rather under feed than over feed my fish. I would highly recommend this flake food over any other pellets brand they have on the market. I would add the flakes to water before adding them in the tank so they sink better becuase they will not go to the top to eat the flakes they will wait for them to get close to them before they gobble it up.
